honda no spark condition
i am working on a 1990 honda accord. it has a no spark condition. i was advised to replace the ignitor(icm) after doin this i still had no spark. therefore i changed the coil, cap and rotor. after doing all this i still have the same no spark condition. pls advise on what else could be the problem
Have you checked the fuses? Does the CEL come on and go off after about 2 seconds with the key in the run position? Are there any codes stored?
yea all fuses are good and i ran checks on codes none came up. yes the cel goes out after 2 seconds. i went to school for this crap and it still has me confused
hey....i just had the same problem take me a month to find on my h22. after buying a new distributor, 2 ignitors and a new coil...we ended up finding that it was a section of the wiring harness that had shifted. have a buddy turn the car over while you are under the hood with a plug out and grounded of course...then just move your wiring harness around with you hand...watching out for moving parts...and see if you get any intermitten spark...then you can find out where to go from there....good luck man...i know it sucks
