Default HOW DO YOU MAKE YOUR SUNROOF SLIDE BACK SMOOTHLY??

I recently just bought my 94 gsr and everytime I open the sunroof it shakes and slides back really rough....I applied grease to the rails but it still does it... any suggestions???

hehe, mine does that too...i don't think it's a big deal though. You roll it back once for like 2 seconds then you dont' worry 'bout it 'til you get outta the car...or it starts raining

get some oem grease from acura, lube that ish up. worked for me.

mine does that too, even after acura lubed it up. they said you have to keep it closed for 24hrs after you do that. also my sunroof sticks sometimes and i need to bump it to get it goin, does anyone have that problem too?

i just shot the rail things wit some wd40...i think I overdid it though, sometimes I think I can smell it while I'm driving :-P

but it doesn't skip anymore, so mission accomplished

Powdered graphite, eh? I cleaned all the rails and then applied white lithium and it still shakes. This is a common problem with the Teg.

I was told not to use white lithium because it will collect dirt and make it stick again. Id go to an acura dealer and get some of the oem grease.

i'm gonna try this

any grease/lube it gonna make dirt stick to it.....clean it up real good and put some graphite powder in and i bet it's gonna take care of it

dude hate that. Mine does it too and it fricken annoying. i tried cleaning the rails out and I used the white lithuim grease. Yeah it did nothing for me.

I have a 95 and that **** does it to mine too. Its sooo annoying. i cant stand it I'll take some hinters and do it when the weather starts to warm up

My freakin' sunroof does the Harlem Shake like no other. It's annoying, but as long as it doesn't get stuck or anything, I don't really mind it. It doesn't do it when I'm closing it at least.

i put vasoline on mine and it works perfect because vasoline will never go away or evap like other greases worked great for me
