Default Spoon coilovers

My jdm ITR (96) had spoon coilovers on it when i bought it. They are set fairly low (no gap between top of tyre and wheel arch) The spoon springs are a fairly low rating (possibly lowest- 250lbs-rear, 350lbs front-i think)and i have the shocks set on #1 all round but the ride is still pretty hard, if i raise the car say 3/4inch will that give a more comfortable ride seeing as the shock has more travel? Also does anyone else have them and if so could they please please please do my a huge favour and draw a template of the C-wrench and post it to me so i can make one as i didnt get one with my car. (i'll paypal the postage cost etc)
Also the springs are the straight spring type, is it possible to use progressively wound springs with coilovers and would it leave the ride more comfortable with them?

I have ordered a C-wrench from spoon europe so thats not a problem anymore.
Can anyone tell me will raising the suspension 3/4 inch to allow more shock travel soften the ride slightly?
