rims size question.....need opinions
i had 17 inch on my car it looked better and handled better but the ride sucked and potholes suck so i have stock rims on now but my question is what do you think is the best all around rims size?
when i finally build up my motor i plan on doin some autox and occational trips to the strip. I want to get 16's because it looks better than 15's and i can get a bigger side wall vs the 17's ?
will the 16's hurt me at the strip? so whats the best size rims for autox and the strip ?sorry about the long write up but im just trying to get it perfect.

I'm going to have to tell you to search. There has been endless debate about this for years. I personally believe that you should never go above 16 on a Honda, and that for autocrossing, a 16 will do just fine. However at the strip, I'd probably drop down to a 15 on account of tire cost if nothing else. You have to consider the drive ratio that each will give you, along with the weight advantage of certain sets of wheels over others. This is why I say "search." No one can make this decision but you.
would you get 205/45/16 or can you go wider on a 7.5 inch rims and and not worry about rubbing. And i was just thinking about getting a set of 16's and 2 matching rims in 15 for the strip....and whats the deal with the off set, stock rims say 45 what will the off set need to be for 16's?

The problem with 16" wheels is the tire selection, nowhere near as good as with 15".
If you have 16", it's good to have a lightweight set of 15" for your autox/drag days.
