water out of exhaust?

when im idling water drops will form on the inside of my exhaust muffler, is this a bad thing?

Water is a byproduct of combustion.

Complete combustion of gasoline with oxygen:

(2)C8H18 + (25)O2 ---> (18)H2O + (16)CO2

Funny, with complete combustion of gasoline in oxygen, the engine produces more water than carbon dioxide. Although that is "ideal" conditions. I believe this is why cars need catalytic convertors. But you guys don't care, you hate chemistry class...

The formula is balanced. Two things that I forgot to add that are byproducts of this formula are heat and energy.

I thought that they did due to emission standards and air quality issues? I know it hampers performance for those that are looking for power. If it does not need to be there, then why do cars come with them?
