Default directed 600d, or jbl 600.1

well i can get a directed 600d for 150 bucks. but i can also get a 600.1 for around the same price, maybe 200..... this is for a 15" rf hx2 dual 4ohm.

i saw something somewhere that the directed only puts out 400w rms at 2ohm?

yes. It will only put out 400w at 2ohm. But the directed amp are higher quality and has much better crossovers. They will take more abuse than the JBL.

But this isn't to say the JBL isn't good. It's a great amp. I had it once, before I sold it to get my DEI 1100d, which i sold few weeks ago, and now buying another one. LOL!

the DEI has a 18db octave infrasonic filter, 18db octave low-pass filter, 0/180 phase controller, able to be strapped with another 600d, and able to take up to 16v on stock internal.

The JBL has a 12db octave low pass filter that isn't clearly marked on the amp. Not to mention vocals were easily heard, even when the filter was set low.

Vocals? Yes, very possible. Vocals can be found under the 250Hz register at low levels.

The BP 600.1 will give you 600 Wrms at 2 Ohms load and less distortion than the DEI.
