In september i bought a centerforce dual friction (stage 2) for my 88 crx si...i recently bought an 89 crx si, so i can no longer use the clutch....the clutch kit includes, the pressure plate and the clutch disk. (thats all it came with)

I bought the kit for about 260....but am willing to take 250 shipped

before i rant.. this clutch is worth 250.. for the fact it would cost 350 to get one cause its rarely made and bought for the 88 tranny.

now didn't i tell you it wouldnt work..

now don't even get the crx 89 si Kit get 90-00'civic/crx D series clutch disk and pressure plate. why? has more meat and larger diameter..

use a 90-91 flywheel, it was the lightest of all 90-00' flywheels. lightest out of them all.

88.. 89.. 90-91 are all different kits. 89 flywheels dont fit on 90-00' kits EVEN THOUGH it has same spline count for shaft, the flywheel is smaller in diameter and wont match with the 90-00' pressure plate when bolted.

so save yourself the trouble and do it right for the same price, get 90-00' flywheel and clutch kit.. it will fit and it doesnt matter what year its from.. which is good you can find some cheap kits out there for 90-00'.

*if you lost me. 89 tranny with 90-91 flywheel, and whatever clutch kit you find for it. (90-00')
