Default What to do with $500?

My car just got knicked today while it was parked at school and the owner is willing to pay for the damage (scratch), which is about $500. Should I just put that money towards a Greddy Turbo Kit or should I fix that scratch on my front bumper? It's about a 2 inch scratch; small, but pretty ugly. I'll post up the pics a lil later.

hell just get a cam and springs/retainers right now... F saving for a turbo kit...

You're car will get a lot faster NOW... granted you may need to change the cam again once you go turbo... but you could always switch back to stock.

Invest it. In 10 years you can buy a new car if you keep adding to it. Just touch up the front bumper.

screw fixing the scratch, it gives your car character, put it in stock and you will appreciate it in a couple of years

Well, here are the pics I promised. This will give you guys a better idea of what the nasty scratch looks like..

Does something like this really cost about $500 to repair? I was thinking that if it was cheaper, I can just buy a turbo kit and save a little for the scratch.

Comments welcomed.

damn your car is shiny.. I would have said turbo and ignore the scratch, but if the rest of your car is as good looking as the front end, I'd fix it.

To fix it properly, he would actually need to get a new OEM bumper, then add in the flex additives, labor for scuffing, materials, then for the new paint...It probably would cost around $500.
