Default Hubcentric rings... how many types ? How do you know which ones you need?

I have a 1998 Honda Civic. I have 5Zigen Fighter rims. Last summer when cruising at over 100 km i would feel the wheels jitter throught the steering wheel.

Question 1 : Could hubcentric rings fix the problem ?

Question 2 : How do i know if my rims are hubcentric ?

Question 3 : How will i know what size hubcentric ring i may need ?

Question 4 : With these rings... do they come in a baggy of 4 and I just slap them on?

THANK YOU! to whoever helps me out

i had the same problem, the best advice is go to a local garage/shop and ask them to tell you by looking at the wheel. Thats what i did at least.

i got a baggy of four rings from the shop and it fixed the problem perfectly, i think that the rings are in size according to the type of car and not the type of wheel. So pretty much all civics should have the same size hubcentric rings, but DONT quote me on that, its just an educated guess.

you basically just take off the wheel, slide the hubcentric ring on the back of the wheel and slide it back onto the wheel studs. The best way to check is to jack up the car and wiggle the rim a little, see if if "shifts" or moves on the hub at all. If it does then chances are you need hucentric rings.

I actually have a set of four from my wheels that i have laying around, since i sold my wheels. I'll sell them to you if you need them, let me know

half right. measured by type of car and type of wheel.

all civics have the same hub size (inside dia. of the ring) for outside dia. of the ring measure the inside dia. of the wheel. simple as that. i worked at a wheels shop for over a year and there are TONS of sizes, measured in mm. have a custom wheel shop do it. theyre cheap other than that.

but your prob could be that or, out of balance

#2, if they dont fit flush around the gold hub in the middle of the wheel, then theyre not centric. most aftermarket wheels are advised to have rings because they make them bigger so they are able to fit a wider variety of cars.
