I am a honda tech newbie and i would like to start off the topic by saying hi. i have done the search and it has told me nothing, i am throwing code 17 fuel injector system and code 23 vtec oil pressure switch, also once it gets up to tempature it idols at about 1500-2000 rpms, it is really annoying me. oh and i am running a ls/vtec(gsr head). any info on these problems would be great.. thanks

The oil pressure switch (VTEC soilnoid) might be dirty. Pull it out and clean it. What injectors are you using. You need VTEC injectors.

If you have ANY of the Honda 240cc Injectors you will be fine. There are no magical "VTEC" injectors. Also check your fast idle controller.

 

thankyou for the replies, i will try and see if it is the fast idol controller. but the thing is it doesnt even do the cold start up where it idol high once i start it, it only idols high once i get up to temperature and start driving... maybe it is getting stuck open once i start moving?? and dont worry i have "magical" vtec injectors....
