D16Y7 block/crank/everything besides head...same as Y8/A6/Z6???
Is a D16Y7 block/crank/everything (besides head) the same as a Z6/A6/Y8 block/crank/everything???
I found a Y7 block for cheap with just 2 blown piston rings...i'm going to rebuild but i haven't seen and N/A builds use the Y7 block for a VTEC high compression build (like mine )

im not sure if the Y7 block has a provision for a knock sensor or not. i cant remember

i'll be using a P28 ecu which doesn't monitor a knock sensor so that wont matter but essentially are is the stroke/bore/rod length, etc. the same? A few have told me so but double checking never hurts
