My Mini-me experience.
Well it starts off that i got everything for except the ex harness and the exhaust manifold for $25. The stuff had less then 35,000 miles on it, about 2000 of it was boosted.
So i got everything on the car and put together, using the y7 t.b. and iacv.Well i had a dead miss on cylinder one. Checked the spark, tdc, and everything and it was fine. We took the plug off #1 injector and it didn't make a diff. on how the car ran. So i got new injectors for free, from a friend and it didn't make a diff. So the next step was a compression test. #1 cylinder had 0 compression. So we did a leak down test and it was leaking out the exhaust valves. Adjusted the valves, and car ran fine.
Well the iacv wasn't working so today i put the ex t.b. on and used the ex iacv, swaped the plugs on the ecu, adjusted the timing, and it is fine.
Now i only got 1 cel code and it's for the tps. My question to u is it like on the 4th gen duel point where u have to swap the 2 wires arround? The both use the vertical t.b. and now that thought has crossed my mind. It just maybe a bad tps but i want to be sure first.
What i bought was from a 99 ex:
head, intake mani., 2 distributers 1 for obd2a and 1 for obd2b,acell wires,tb,knock sensor, everything was there minus the injectors, all for $25!
I bought new head gaskets, intake gasket set, timing belt, and water pum
For those of u who want to know i just grounded the knock sensor to the body near the ecu, and it's laying under the ecu.
Thanks for all your help.

Did you adjust all 16 valves? If not, go back and do them all before going any further.
Check the voltage from your TPS at the ECU. It should be .5 volts fully closed, and about 4.5 volts at WOT.
