Steering Wheel shakes when I brake???
I just got the Accord about a month ago its a 96 ex with cross drilled rotors in the front and stock in the rears. It has 45000 miles on it and when I hit the brakes the wheel starts to shake. Its not really bad but its annoying... Just wondering what it could be...The car was my dads and he changed the brake at 40000 miles.. Can the the rotors be warped already? Any help would be great thanks....
this use to happen on my sisters car, the dash basically shaked when the car would be breaking, she even thought it was the steering wheel but it was just vibrating becasue of the dash. i say just have it checked out, shouldnt be that bad.
yeah cross drilled one time and heated them up good and the same problem started. Took them off and found that they were warped so you should probably check that first. You never know how they were treated before
the car was m dads and he babyed the car as you can see a 96 with 45000 miles on it. The wheel only shakes a little bit but its just annoying. Any quick fix with out changing the rotors?

resurface the rotor would be the easy route and least expensive.

Same thing happend to me your rotors are warped. Except Ignored mine and in 2 months i had to get new rotors, pads and calipers so i just went ahead and got integra brakes all round.
Happened all the time with my sister's car that she drove really easily. It was rust buildup on the inside and outside edges of the rotors. Light, easy braking did not flake it off. Chipping it off would cure it for about 6 months, then do it again. There is also a good chance the drilled rotors warped more easily than stock ones would. I would just replace them with stock autoparts store ones.
Ok so now if I wanted to take my rotors off all i need to do is take off the brake caliper and then unsrew the rotors two bolts and thats it?
