price for a new heater core

Honda - $237
Autozone - $69

i bought the az one "ReadyAire" and it does not fit right, it is about 1/2 an inch too long so it cant be bolted in and the hoses dont line up. so i brought it back to az and got my money back and went to honda. at honda it was $237! Guess i am going to have to make the az one work??

anyone else have this problem?

Verify you got the correct part from AZ.

I've had problems with cheap parts not fitting. Try a heater core from NAPA. It will be less than the dealer, more than az, and better quality than az.

The company that makes this one is called "Ready-Aire". On the box it had a list of companies that carry them and NAPA was one of them. I am just going to call around tomorrow and buy one from whichever place doesn't have Ready-Aire.
