My integra is making some scratching noises when i am in 1st gear (Like some metal is scratching something). Could it be the gears are messed up? I just got this car like a little over 2 weeks ago, and i started learning stick on it. It sounds so awful im taking it to the shop asap to see what's wrong with it. I don't know a lot about cars so If you can tell me what you think it might be please post!!

 

is the noise coming as you engage, after you engage, during engagement?

or is it making the noise as you drive in 1st?
