If you don't know who Shaun Carlson is than you have been living under a rock in the import world for the past 6-7 years. He has been involved in MOST of the changes to our market. Records - Fabrication - Magazines - Factory Backing he has done it all, and with flying colors. He is the only racer that we know of that has designed, built, painted, and driven his own rocket ship. He even drives the car to the track. Combined with MOPAR, Shaun has pushed and pushed our market. The time has come for something new - pro stock, yes PRO STOCK. He will be running this weekend at Pomona CA in a factory backed Dodge, we heard he has already put down during testing 6.98@198 and 6.96@198 (please don't quote us) Not bad for his first time in rear wheel drive not to mention no shake down passes just "here's the keys handle it". He is the Micheal Jordon of our market and we at Rage are very proud of what he has brought to our industry. We wish you well !
CONGRATULATIONS TO SHAUN CARLSON AND THE NUFORMZ TEAM

Old news but the other post was "I heard" so i figured i would give some proof
As A proud Sponsor & Supporter of Shaun for many years, I am truly happy for Shaun, Rob, Apple, John, Greg... and anyone else involved with Nuformz and Shaun Carlson!
i hope he goes out there and shows he can wheel a car! this could open doors for other drivers in the Sport compact series!

well looking at the results on the NHRA page, Shaun didn't get in the show after the first round of qualifying. He's got a few more chances to make it in, let's hope he does it.
Something else I learned on the NHRA page, is that Grant Downing is competing in the Fuel Funny Car field??

thats pretty good for not having many runs behind the wheel of one of those cars...I believe we start testing soon with our Stratus...Ill post numbers to see if we might be considered "competition"(still workin on a contract for $) in a field with a .1 sec margin between #1 and #16......look for that to tighten up in the next couple qualifying efforts

Shaun ran really well. I was out there to see him go. He told me that this is just a part time thing for him, he is just filling in for the driver Darrell Alderman while he gets back surgery. He said it is one hell of a ride. Good job Shaun!!!

I saw the pass and he did a great job. It surprised me because I was unsure of his driving skills but he is the real deal.
