Default INTEGRA PAINT

Has anyone gotten a maaco paint job, or a comparable body shop, for about 500-600 bucks? If so how did it turn out? I need a paint job on my teg and i dont want to spend a **** load of money but i hear they mix the clearcoat in with the paint or something like that, so it doesnt last long.... any opinions are very helpful.... PS im in the metro area MD/DC/VA

Buy my car!! https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=770547

Say no to Maaco. It will not last long, tends to chip, and will fade over a year or two's worth of time. There ARE better shops out there!!!!

Why do you need a paintjob? is the car rusting or is the clearcoat worn?

if youre selling your car, why are you painting it?

from what I've seen with Maaco, it HIGHLY depends on how much you pay. They have the lower priced packages which seems to give them somewhat of a bad rep, but if you pay more money, they spend more time doing it right and you end up with a better job.

You get what you pay for, always.

Pro 3 is ok. clear coat didn't turn out as shiny as i hoped. also 6 year warranty basically only covers fading, peeling and cracking. fading i guess is kinda subjective. btw the warranty doesn't cover any plastic parts ie bumpers, sideskirts, etc.
