Default Restoring faded half on car...

The car is a red 93 SI Hatch, the paint isnt all that bad but the right side roof and fender are pretty faded. The fender was taken from another car since the original was damaged, I thought it would match much better then it does. In any case the right side or the car isnt all that pretty, I wanted to know what steps to take to restore the color, I dont have money to spend to have this done so it will be a type of DIY waxing or something type of thing. I'll post pictures of the car tomorrow so you get a better idea. Thanks

lets see how bad the paint looks and we can see how to approach this.

Bring it to the body shop and have them buff/polish it or try spraying some clear on it. Clear coat will bring some of the deep richness of color red back.

Hmm, if I was you, I'd rather just leave it alone and wait 'til the whole car starts to look like ****, then get a paint job. Or, just get a new paint job right away.
