I got 6x9's in there, and they rattle the **** out of the rear hatch cover. This is for a 4 door TEg. THanks

 

T-shirts? Egg "crate" foam whatever? Just mess around with the stuff back there..

 

So do you take out the cover and put the stuff in between em? Its driving me nuts. I need all the experence from all you audio gurus. Thanks.

 

I have a GS sedan and have experienced the same problem. That back deck (under the window) rattles a lot due to the 6x9's and the sub in the trunk. I went and got some pillow stuffing from a craft store and tried to put it under the "shelf" back there were it was rattling. It helped a bit, but I have to try to do a better job when the weather warms up again.

I thought I was the only one with the problem. haha

 

im sure theres more of us..theyre just waiting to come out of the closet

 

If it's metal rattling I've heard you can just tighten screws back there too; that helps and stuff t shirts in between the parts that are rattling.
