I personally would never use a harness with the stock EG seats. There's nothing preventing the tailstrap(s) from going off the side of the seat. I wouldn't want to even think about what that could do to you in an accident. Its not being 'smart' about it. I just think its a REALLY bad idea. Even worse than running a harness at all without a full roll cage.

If you can't see how a harness over the shoulders isn't a good idea, then do it...

i put them on my car. bad idea, they fall off my right shoulder all the time. i got it because i got a sparco steering wheel ( no airbag). but i feel its still unsafe. i still use my stock seat belt for now. but im waiting to get a sparco evo2 seat or something before i wear them. i still have them mounted. just to lazy to take them off.
