1990 CRX HF Completely Rebuilt in Georgia
started the project back in last August with a 1990 Honda CRX HF and have been working on it for a year now. As you know, the HF is the lightest of all the CRX models and the car currently weighs in at 1945 lbs. (UNDER 2000 LBS!!!!) The car is powered by a completely rebuilt B16A1 (Engine was rebuilt by RACEWORKS and currently has 7700 miles on it. Additional features include:
Action Racing Kevlar Sprung Clutch
J1 Transmission w/ open differential
JimFab Custom Racing Front Crossmember
Hasport Motor Mounts
Hasport Shift Linkage
AEM Cold Air Intake with Bypass Valve
DC Sport 4-2-1 Headers
Hi-Flow Catalytic Convertor
15" Flat Black R-1 Racing Wheels (11.5 lbs each)
Yokohama ES100's 15/205/50
PowerSlot Slotted Rotors Up Front
1990 Integra LS Rotors on the Rear (Rear Disc Brake Swap)
Steel Braided Brake Lines
Koni Yellow Shocks with Eibach Springs 300/400 Coilover Setup
Front and Rear Upper strut bars
Short shifter with Civic Type-R ****
Corbeau Forza Racing Seats
Schroth Rally 3 Racing Harness (Only DOT approved Harness that I know of)
BRAND NEW CARPET
I really want to get $5000 for this car, I've spent far more on it but I'm willing to let it go. Anyone is interested in purchasing a CRX that has been built THE RIGHT WAY, THE WHOLE WAY should let me know.
I will be updating this post with more pictuers tonight so check back!

Like I said, I'll be putting some more pictures up of receipts and details of the rebuild. Check back.
BTW: It is in Marietta GA (Not too far from Atlanta), I'm willing to drive it somewhere to drop it off for sale. She's tons of fun to drive anyways

Well, I'm not really limiting myself to any one car for a trade. Really, if it interests me I might just take it.
As far as the interior goes: I have a brand new, never installed carpet, all the door handle/panel peices (not the panels themselves though), and the cargo bay peices.
The dents are still there, but honestly, is that something to really point out? I mean a little body work and some paint is all she needs.

yeah - body condition is something thats very important to me when we are talking a 12+ year old vehicle for 5000 dollars. I personally would consider it if it did NOT need body work, so I thought I would ask.

Well that's your opinion, Here's mine:
I would much rather spend $5,000 on a car that is built entirely out of new or rebuilt parts and deal with the eyesore of a dent or two than pick up a aesthetically perfect vechicle only to find out that the seals are leaking or whatever. You know?
I guess I just don't consider the same factors as you do when I'm looking for a car.

I guess I will have to desagree and leave it at that..and another free bump for yuo
While a sound running car is my main goal, myself and MANY others DO care what the car looks like.. a few minor dents etc. is no big deal really, but everyone wants to know what they are getting. Vehicle condition is a must in a for sale listing.
good luck with the sale, still a nice car!
