Why don't you ask on the Integra board, instead of on the Type R board? This has nothing to do with the Type R.

because people in the type r forum seem more educated and mature.. saying that mostly people that have type r's are usually older, then the average teenager driving his ls with that in mind, i also though that i would get a much more in depth reply. ^_^

.....well, I know you probably don't want to hear this:

If you're considering this conversion, it might make more financial sense to remove all your aftermarket goodies and go back to stock. Sell the car and buy the same one in manual (or maybe upgrade to a better model).

Otherwise, if you really like the car then you'll spend $1500-$2k for manual conversion... Unless you have a hook up somewhere... I just think that money could pay for so many mods instead...

Conversion will cost about 2k. Better to sell the car unless you can't or don't want to due to personal reasons.

The swap is somewhat in depth as it requires some welding, so keep that in mind. Since you are in Hawaii, it might be harder to find a shop that knows what they're doing, which is the most important thing if you are going to do the swap.
