Drag racing on History channel tonight!!
Tonight at 9PM est on modern marvels they are doing the history of drag racing. I absolutely love the history channel, and am looking foward to seeing what kind of show they have created about our beloved sport!!
Just thought I'd let yall know about it!!
(feel free to move to GDD if it's more appropriate there, but I figured the draggers are here so...)

who owns that car now?? is it at a museum or something??? that was pretty ingenious.... it trully is a whole different type of race car.... i wish it would have become alot more popular... when i first read about that car years ago i thought that by this time now there would be at least 5 different teams running those type of cars.
hopefully now that everyone is a bit more educated on the sport... they can apreciate that car more and we see some of the pro teams at least considering it.
i would love to see race cars like theese at the track.

they said it goes for like 100gs and the fuel system switches from alcohol during the burnout to nitro during the run. The block is made of a solid peice of aluminum for strenth. That thing will be a lot cheaper alternative than running a powerade funny car and its got a better "cool factor" cause its a hype arrr
