Hey guys...My stereo got jacked a while ago, and i've been using my friends old school oem tape deck...and its time to move up to a cd player now! LOL i already posted a wanted ad and i've done a search for an ITR radio/cd player..but so far, i only got one response. I figured I should just go directly to the source! If any of you guys are selling your stock stereo, please reply or pm me how much you want....

Yes - and they are generally willing to pay $70 or so. Is there some deep meaning hidden in your reply that I am missing.

Christ - I have seen this content-free expression ('it is worth what someone is willing to pay') or some inane variant of it thousands of times in the internet and I still have no idea what it is meant to convey.
Most common items have a market value that they gravitate to. In the case of this item it is $70 or so (and I know this because I have looking for one of these puppies for a month or so).
Yes - there might be some clueless retard out there that is willing to pay $200 for one of these but so what? What is the probability of this person seeing your ad and buying your CD player?
Every time you feel the urge to use the expression 'it is worth what someone is willing to pay', replace it with 'even a small dog has four legs'. Both convey equal amounts of useful information.

not in sales are you? the expression very clearly means i can offer to sell my stock R radio at any price i want, however, the price i actually sell it at depends on what the buyer is willing to pay.
you say that R radios go for $70 all the time, so why don't you go buy one for that price? another person said they sell for $200 on ebay. i don't know if either price is reasonable, but....where do you think i want to sell my radio? to you or some ebay person? if the R radio is worth $200 to someone on ebay, then that is the price i wil get because they will pay it!

Yeah, it's insane how people on ebay can be so uninformed. Personally, I think people get so carried away with "winning"(read: losing) the auction they pay more than the ****'s worth, without seeing the product, to boot. I used to sell used car amps for $20 less than retail. Only in America.
Matt's $.02, Honda OEM CD playaaa goes for $100 on avg. plus shippin'
