Default Got my D15b from HMO! Also clutch/flywheel install *pics*

Got my JDM d15b vtec w/ si tranny from Hmotorsonline.com. Its going to be swapped into my turbo del Sol S (d15b7).. to Hmotorsonline.com for a hella clean engine! While its out I installed a Spec Stage 3 6puck clutch and ACT prolite flywheel.

That looks really nice. Is that a street driven car? I get irritated with my 3 puck, I cant imagine driving on yours.

6 puck won't be as near as harsh as a 3 puck

i never understood what 6 puck? or 3 puck means? i heard stage 3 clutch is not good for daily driving, but i never understood why??? nice set-up btw

Engine isn't in yet, I plan on doing it during spring break to make sure i have plenty of time. Will be my biggest project yet! I am so excited/nervous

$435 for engine + $150 for tranny + 185 shipping = $770

I got the clutch for $285 shipped from OptionImports.com and the flywheel for $215 shipped from ProPartsUSA

Does it say D15B right on the engine code bar? I'm assuming that obviously it does, but I have a JDM ZC SOHC VTEC engine that some people say is the same thing. If the 2 motors have different engine codes then I'm guessing mine is not a 1.5

,pretty clean but u go the 'BLACK TOP" its 123 hp..still good motor, the polished top has 130

wow,very clean motor....didn't the black tops come out of 92-93 civics and the "shiny" tops cam eout of 94-95 civics?

i've never heard anything of that sort,
pretty sure the 128hp is correct
they're alwasy been rated 130ps

maybe your thinking of the d16y8, which does come with a silver top

I've got pretty much the exact same setup going in my hatch. Act prolite flywheel and act 6 puck with y8 mani and dc ss 4-1 header and jun chipped p70.

nothing of the sort, the black top is just one of the earlier motors..i have one in my 92 vti.. nice choice of motor btw, very impressed with mine..
