My friend is seling me his rc 550cc injectors for $100. They were recently flowed and balanced. I wanted to know if i should buy them or is ther a risk they mite fail or not work well or something

 

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that RC cleans and flowtests them for free....

No you should not use them at all, they are very very very bad, what you should do is give me your friends phone number so I can call him and tell him not to sell them to you because the are so bad.
I may just have buy them from him to take them off the market so that they do not cause any harm to you my friend!

Ill logic is a millionaire and doesnt need injectors, his car runs on Mr. Fussion, and he lives his life one 1/4 mile at a time, for those 10 seconds or less he doesnt need your injectors.

YES, RC does clean and balance for free
just as long as they are RC injectors

 

Hmm I should send the 550cc RCs in that I just bought then.

 

If those are the same $100 DOllar injectors on DSM Trader...those are Peak\Holds and you cant just plug them into a Honda. Need Resistor Packs...

i thought the DSM injectors fit in honda's they just had to be OBD1 injector clips?

Nope, it depends on the year of the car. 94+ civics and integras use saturated. G2 integras use peak&hold. Preludes use peak&hold up until 95 or so I believe.

I just got my 750 cc DSM injectors in the mail the other day. I am still waiting on my fuel rail and FPR to show up. I will tell you if they are a direct fit or require modification. If I am not mistaken, you would need a resister pack for the p & h DSm injectors. I have found a site that sells them pretty cheap. I only paid $499 for my 750 cc. www.dsm-performance.com Here they are. But I would watch Ben @ importparts, he just reduced his 550's to $295, and the resister packs to $40. That is awesome!

 

G3 Integras use saturated. The way to check is to Ohm the terminals on the injectors. If it is more than 17 Ohms they are Peak Hold and will require resistor packs on a car that uses saturated injectors.
