What is the difference between a regular Ex Accord and a Special Edition Accord on a 6Gen??

a special edition is an auto lx, the ex is still a higher trim level

the special edition was basically an LX with some add-ons. it's basically an LX plus floormats, SE-exclusive rims, cd player (later model LX already had cd). older model LX models had black side moldings, while the SE came with body-colored moldings. depending on which year, the special edition may or may not have a sunroof. things that an EX will have over the SE: sunroof (although newer editions of SE will have sunroof), body-colored side skirts, cruise control, i think abs, and different cd player. (later years of the EX had a 6-disc in-dash cd changer.) side note: all SE's came with an automatic transmission.
