alarm for my teg in the bay area ?
new deck comes in tomm, need to protect my baby. where did you guys get your alarm installed in the bay area, any reccommendations?
i'm thinking sunnyvale/cupertino area, out to san jose or as far as SF. i go to school up towards Sac, heading home this weekend for my 60k checkup though. figured i'd get the alarm installed down there while i was at it (we've got nothing up here, just circuit city and best buy, ugh).
i just want a reliable alarm and good installer, although the options i'd like are trunk pop and remote windows. i hear for my 95 teg i need the solenoid though which could be pretty pricey. not a necessity, i'd like to keep total cost around or under $300 if possible.
thanks

And one more thing. AVOID Pacific Stereo in Fremont. Their prices are good but their installation really sucks. I had a deck installed(free install) for the wife's Altima and it wasn't that great. Also, I found cigarette ashes on the passenger side.
Pacific Stereo down here in socal sucks too!...I think they're whole chain sucks cuz I went to a couple down here. The guys there are really shady and are mostly a-holes!

there's a place on Mission where I got my alarm installed. It's great! pretty cheap and quality instalation. I recommend them. plus you can go there again to configure the sensitivity anytime, so it's good.
I got the Wasp alarm. Same company as the Viper alarm.

Not only their service was bad...the problem is that most of the employees there act like 'thugs' or some gangster like ****.

That's my cousin's place. He's pretty cool. Not sure what kinda deal he can give you but tell him his cousin Gary sent you. His name is Jeff Tom.

Actually what I recommend is to take a vacation and have the alarm installed as far away from where you live as you can get. Also give out a false address or something like that. Then they cant track you and you can sleep easy knowing that the unreputable shop guy you saw there in the corner wont be taking your ride. A little paranoid, but it covers your *** pretty well.
NOT Auto Sound and Security! I had my alarm installed by the one on Blossom Hill and GAWD was it horrible! Siren screwed losely into my strut bar (screw fell out a day later too), antenna wire run no where, left out the vibration sensor, and power wires all sloppily run. Will never ever go there again.
