Default increasing power with rpms

P= (TR)/5252

P= power, in horsepower
T= torque, measured in lb/ft
R= Engine speed, in RPMs

Therefore:

Horsepower= (torque x RPMs) / 5252

although what i just posted is nothing new, my question is why do you see power drop off on dyno sheets. a friend told me don't stroke my motor to make more power, just increase my motors rpm/rev capability, and i will gain more power. what would i have to do to take advantage of what he is talking about. new fuel maps and spark curves?

thanks

cylinderhead portflow charateristics, header design, intake manifold/intake runner length, camshaft specs, longer duration and higher lift, connecting rod ratio ... all combination of these things will get you there ... what works is the key to the universe then everyone keeps in their pocket.
