i have access to a free DOHC VTEC head (which variety i do not know) but it has been shaved past the factory limit mark. can a shop do anything to this to make it salvageable. it has a full p and p already.

Default Re: shaved cylinder head (Huggy Bear)

1 possible solution would be to use a thicker head gasket
like from cometic, that might help, i have a few friends that use thicker
gaskets when the boost to lower compression after they head was milled
as far as past factory limit, im not 100 % sure
my GSR head is shaved .040 and havent had any problems on my ls/vtec
