Default TODA flywheel bad for turbo?

I was told by Fred Ellis that my TODA flywheel wouldn't be good for Turbo.
I was only going to Boost 6-7psi for daily driven LS.
he recommended a Stock Flywheel. I just spent over 300 for this flywheel and i hate to sell it. Any Suggestions? Would ITR flywheel be idealistic?
What is the Recommended weight of the flywheel for TURBO cars
thanks

if its low boost i wouldnt worry much about it its when you get into the double digits that i would be afraid of the flywheel exploding. but 6-7psi wont push you much above 220 torque (im probably wrong on that number someone correct me) so your fine. if your planning to run oh say 20lb of boost like me. the light flywheel will NOT hold that. im looking for an ITR flywheel as we speak. hope this helped a little.

Toda flywheels are very strong chrome-moly steel, and 6psi is nothing. It will work fine.

There is a good amount of misinformation being tossed about on this subject.

thanks Dustin So i should keep it If i'm not boosting over 6-7psi?

The Toda is around 9lbs i think. I never got around to weight it before installing it. Would ITR flywheel be Idealistic since its not too heavy like stock and not too light.

Does anyone know Fred Ellis here on the east coast. He has prolly one of the fastest Crx.....

sorry to point u out... but i disagree... lightweight flywheels WILL hold up that power... and are better no matter how u look at it... maybe not for srteet driving, but they will get a little stress/weight off the rotating assembly which is the sought after result, if u get a flywheel such as a clutchmaster, then u will have problems, i have already seen more than one case of that flywheel haveing the contact area ripped off, i would NEVER put that flywheel on my car and would never reccommend it, i would trust the chromoly one-piece flywheels though... such as jun, toda, etc....

as for the whole weight issue... about going to light... has anyone ever held some of the twin-disk clutches out there? like the osg? ap? tilton? the pressure plate/2 discs AND flywheel still weight less than a stock flywheel... im not sure on the tilton on this, but i would assume so considering i have held the ap and osg clutches before
