No cruise control with hondata
When I had my hondata installed I lost my cruise control feature. Anybody know a way that I can get it to work again?
I've searched, but haven't found anything specific.
Thanks

Well it has something to do with wiring the launch limiter or full throttle shift to the clutch switch. Apparently the way in which he wired it up, caused my cruise control not to set.
Any ideas on what the problem might be?

How is it wired up? Is it using the switch suplied by Hondata, or the original? Are the wires spliced, or is the rev limit harnes only plugged in?

You know, I'm not really sure, I just took a look up there but it's so cramped and there are so many other wires in the way that I can hardly see anything.
I did find the clutch swith however and noticed that there was a white/clear plastic bracket with a pink and a black wire coming out of it, but nothing hooked up to the bracket.
I'm guessing this bracket may have been hooked up to the clutch swith and was pulled out to plug in the hondata bracket and that is why my cruise control is not working.

Those would be for the clutch switch, so you have your answer.

Well if you have a launch control, they most likely eliminated your cruise contorl. There is two switches on the clutch pedal area and hondata says replace the cruise contorl switch with the lauch contorl switch. You also can ask Hondata they most likely say the same.http://WWW.HONDATA.COM

yeah, I think that's what happened. He replaced the cruise control switch, with the launch control switch.
So what do I do to get my cruise to work again? I read a post where somebody said to short 2 wires together.

You just have to remember hitting the clutch wont turn of the cruise now.
