Front wheel drive drivetrains do not typically work with rear wheel drive drivetrains, this is no exception.

this ebayer thought otherwise.......

Hello, CHEAP!!! This is a Acura RSX, type-S , 6 speed manual transmission. Only 8,000 miles!!!! Turn your weak , puny 5 speed tranny into a 6 speed monster!!!! you can hit top speeds of 165 mph + by adding this tranny to your 2001-2004 civic si, or you can just screw it easily onto a Honda S2000 motor and make it A front wheel drive so you can put your s2000 motor with a six speed transmission into your front wheel drive 1993 AND UP civic, integra, del sol, or any honda!!!!!!! the s2000 is a 240 horse power monster and once coupled with a front wheel drive ,six speed transmission and swapped into a older civic, del sol, integra etc, you'll be running 11 second quarter miles easy!!!!!

Are the bolt patterns the same or different on both the k and f blocks? If the same, there shouldn't be a problem. Unless of course the engine's turn differently. Then, that'll definitely be one quick setup.....in reverse

its not a caddy northstar. one of the very few fwd motors that can be hooked up to a factory rwd transmission and do fine.

everyone before this post=OWNED!

Just because its a "RWD" motor doesnt mean it wont work. it all depends on the bolt pattern.

To mate a DC-5 six-speed to a F20C a custom cast bell housing would be required. Bolting a Viper V-10 to an ex tranny makes just as much sense. Read the paragraph under the picture http://www.prototyperacing.com/f20kit.htm .
This is probably why they now offer K20A conversions.
