Bushings are turning to dust!!!
My 88 hatch is in need of suspension bushings. Some of them literally disintigrated when i touched them with a screw driver. Has anyone done this, and how much of a pain is it? Also, should I go with stock rubber bushings or urethane aftermarket?
not to mention that OEM Honda bushings are expensive as well. I replaced every bushing (and I mean every) in my
'91 Si hatch using an Energy Suspension kit; the bushings that the kit didn't come with (mostly in the rear) cost about
$350 from Honda; the ES kit was only about $175! For me it was a major pain in the ***, but worth it; the eurethane
bushings feel really good. I would highly recommend getting a hydraulic press though....
