PCV valve will not cause this. Are you throwing any codes? What is your fuel pressure at and also what plugs are you running (almost sounds like the spark is being blown out). When you say TPS needs adjustment what leads you to believe this?

When you say TPS needs adjustment, do you mean the sensor itself or the throttle blade.. Because you're not suppose to adjust the throttle blade.

As for it dying after you let off the throttle, I'd say your throttle blade is closed too far.. If it's too tight not enough vacuum can get through to keep the engine running..

Well since you say you messed with the TPS, why not try and adjust that first to see if it's the problem? That'd be the first thing I'd try.

what car do you have? crx or civic ?88-91 92-95- 96-00 ? if you have a 88-91 rex was it a dx hf si? if you have this car you need to apply 12v to your iacv on the ylw blk wire if that makes sens to you this should slove this problem if you own an later model you are using the wrong int mani... also if this is true your injectors need replacement for and obd1 type gray plug hope this is useful info goood luck bro

If your Throttle Blade has been screwed with, it is said that you must perform a Minimum Air Flow setting.. To do this, you have close the Blade by backing off the screw. After that you need to open the Blade one to two turns. This will allow a small amount of air to get in. From there you adjust it to get idle to specs..
