Can anyone help me?

I'm finding oil around my VTEC solenoid area... Could this be a serious problem?
What might be wrong or messed?

 

Replace your cam seal. This happens to all of us.

i have the same problem too, but on mine the leaks can be seen where its say b18c on the motor...don't know wat is wrong though..

 

Yup, i 2nd Dustin. Either that or the small rubber gasket around the VTEC solenoid unit is wearing off... though that rarely occurs.

 

Ya the oil seems to be all over the block.. I'm not too sure where it's leaking from but i was told that it looked like it was coming from my VTEC solenoid area.......

How often do cam seals need to be replaced? Could there be any other reasons for this leak?

 

replace your cam seal with the STR aluminum one and you won't be replacing that soon.

 

i think that stp make nice replacements

 

Save yourself some $$$ and just get the 96+ integra cam plug. About $5 and lasts much longer than the 94-95 ones.
