Are hee any specific reasons on why JDM front end wa not offered on USDM integra???
probably because they wanted something that looked way different from the 2nd gen and perhaps the american motor people did like the JDM look..
This was discussed recently... I believe it was only offered in Japan due to poor acceptance of the US style front end..

In japan the front end with the dual headlights was not accepted very well and thus there was a huge drop in sales....i believe there was also a problem with the fitmit of the AGSM translinkage modulator for stage II..which is also why we dont get the AGSM in america..THEY TAKE EVERYTHING in japan for themselves.
I heard that the JDM front cannot pass the 5km/h bumper test
Also, from some research that Honda did, American like the USDM front more than the JDM front

i've heard it didn't pass the 5mph bumper laws and it was too similar to the previous gen teg also...

Because the current version sold well. There was no reason to switch back like they did in Japan.
Might be a stupid question or I might be tired but what is the AGSM translinkage modulator stage II??
Never heard of it, I don't think.

I agree with Pooface...
They released the US front in Japan in 93, and in the US in 94. It didnt sell well in Japan, so they changed it for 96. They were selling like hotcakes here, so they didnt feel the need to change anything.
Doesnt take a rocket scientist, but thats my guess
