Default advice please on building up my engine

I have edited my post to the following :

I want to make my stock enginge (D15B2) al little Stronger,
to accomplisch this at least i want to convert it to MPFI,
and maybe use another head if i gain something doing so.

I don't know wich parts i could use for the best result and will fit my engine.

I was thinking about one of the following Setup possibilities :

D15B2, D15B7, D16A6 or the D16Y7 head
D15B7, D16A6, D16Z5 (DOHC) or the D16Y7 ECU
D15B7, D16A6, D16Z5 (DOHC),D16Z6, D16Y7 or the D16Y8 intake manifold and trottle body.
D15B2 stock cam
***

Can someone provide me with an good decent setup from the above possibilities and an indication of the HP gain i could
aspect from the sujested setup? The setup has to be streetable and good for everyday driving.

Swapping an wiring harness is no problem as long it fits my 4th Gen Civic.

Further i have the following questions :

Can someone provide me with the full specifications (valve sizes etc) from the following heads :

D15B2 SOHC Head
D15B7 SOHC Head
D16A6 SOHC Head
D16Y7 SOHC Head
D16A9 DOHC Head
D16Z5 DOHC Head

And another question about a head : Does the D16A9 or the D16Z5 DOHC head fit my D15B2 engine? My guess is that it doesn't fit???
And can someone give me an indication (only the heads that fit my engine) wich compression each head gives on my stock engine?

Can someone provide me with the specifications of the stock cams from the following engine's :

D15B2 Engine
D15B7 Engine
D16A6 Engine
D16Y7 engine
D16A9 DOHC Engine
D16Z5 DOHC Engine

And is there much difference in the oil pumps of the above engine's? If there is difference, wich engine has the best oil
pump that will fit my D15B2 engine?

Wich Honda cars come with the D16Y7 and the D16Y8 engine's?

Greetings Honda-Fanatic

Later i'll maybe swap it with another cam or buy one but at first i want to use the stock cam.
The same with Air Filter, Exhaust headers etc, at first i want to use the stock[/i]

Whats up yo welcome to the board and the only board that you will need for your Honda needs. You have many questions but good questions you could of also done yourself a favor and gone to the search page and would of found some of your anwears. But Ill try to give you some, some might give you better ones.
A good start is the MPFI swap lets your engine run the way it should run, from what Ive read is buy going with the D16Y8 intake manifold your engine should run better then anyother stock SOHC manifold. You can also go with a SI transmission which is close geared better acceleration then your tranny Ive also heard it give you almost a full 1sec on a 1/4 mile. For your ECU you can go with the stock Civic SI ECU the pm6 which is the MPFI ECU you can also chip it. On your cam you can go with a A6 cam and aftermarket Cam gear and yes many have had good success with a Exospeed cam regrind not your about 10hp but you will gain some hp. Not 100% sure on the A6 head and d15 head but I believe they might be the same only been different the cam so you might want to keep the head maybe some good port and polish might help. You got more questions I am sure someone else will give you more answears.

you can throw the exospeed cam right into your d15, the head castings are identical. i would go with the si transmission for sure, get a lightened flywheel, a good clutch, convert to multipoint for SURE too. i just did this same setup with a buddies car (minus the cam, the motor was internally stock). with an si trans, lightweight flywheel, act clutch, and multipoint the little motor ran SO good it was unbelievable. the d15 cam makes good power, dont let others tell you otherwise, i've seen it many times, a d15 with si mpfi will pull a stock si, i have seen it first hand. odd but true. good luck man. you'll find a lot of info searching on the site
