Default **I need some help..speedo question**

I was curious if the speedo needle comes off of post that it is mounted on...? I need to calibrate mine but I dont want to break it trying to pull the needle off.
Anyone know if it comes right off or have the correct way to get it off of the post?
This is on an 89 teg.
Thanks

To give you all a heads up I pulled the speedo needle off just fine and adjusted it correctly. It comes off. But this is only on cable actuated speedos.. dont take them off of the electronic or the spring will unwind and the speedo wont work.
