Default how much do the type r guys usually sell this for?

whats up..i have a quick question..a local junkyard is selling a 2001 type r am/fm cd headunit with the code and a warranty that it works..for 250 bucks..is this a good deal? how much do they usually go for? i talked him down to 225..and i bet if i go there with 200 bucks i could walk out the door with it..any input would be wonderfull

yea i know 250 seems high...thats why i was asking..i know hes overcharging me out the ***..but i also know hype r parts go for alot more then they should..thats why i made this thread...should i pass on this deal or jump on it?

$100-$150. Why do you need a typeR radio? Just because of the amber lighting?? There are better options out there. I wouldn't buy one for sound quality.

i sold mine for a $100. picked up with code and everything mint condition
anything over $150 is overkill

When mine was stolen, the insurance told me it wasn't worth more than $150, so that's what they paid me.

No way! If you pay $250 for a stock radio you're paying more than double the price you can pick one up for on H-T.

maybe 25 years from now when oem parts are super rare and you want to "restore" an R to factory specs

$200 is too high... most i'd pay is $100

My stock radio is in the priceless catagory, I think I used it for 3 months and then took it out and stored it away. Oh yeah will never be fore sale= original= priceless

I sold mine on Ebay and it went for $106, completely legit. ~100 is what I would pay, the unit actually sucks.
