how much do the type r guys usually sell this for?
whats up..i have a quick question..a local junkyard is selling a 2001 type r am/fm cd headunit with the code and a warranty that it works..for 250 bucks..is this a good deal? how much do they usually go for? i talked him down to 225..and i bet if i go there with 200 bucks i could walk out the door with it..any input would be wonderfull
yea i know 250 seems high...thats why i was asking..i know hes overcharging me out the ***..but i also know hype r parts go for alot more then they should..thats why i made this thread...should i pass on this deal or jump on it?
$100-$150. Why do you need a typeR radio? Just because of the amber lighting?? There are better options out there. I wouldn't buy one for sound quality.

No way! If you pay $250 for a stock radio you're paying more than double the price you can pick one up for on H-T.
maybe 25 years from now when oem parts are super rare and you want to "restore" an R to factory specs
$200 is too high... most i'd pay is $100

My stock radio is in the priceless catagory, I think I used it for 3 months and then took it out and stored it away. Oh yeah will never be fore sale= original= priceless
