i need to get with the program and i want to buy a camera. I want to take pics of my ride and i want them to come out good. A friend of mine recommends 5.0 or higher but cant afford it. Can u help a brother out by showing off your pics. What brand do u have, how many megapixels, and how much the cost is. Any suggestions?

why is that cannon is more expenisive than other brands even if they have the amount of pixels. Is it because its better quality or better pics?
I use a Canon Powershot G3 - 4 megapixels. Some of the other good Honda-Tech photographers use PowerShot G2, G3, and G5s.
For an example of what my Canon PowerShot G3 can do, click the link in my signature (the h-tphotocrew.com link) and click on user submitted, then check out the turbopanda section

i have an old school canon powershot S100, but anyways you need to go to http://www.dcresource.com .. they have the sickest reviews of ALL digital cameras. they also have actual pics taken from the camera in review. go to pricewatch.com for the cheapest price
good luck

I am using the EOS 10D. Great camera. Wish I had the money to get the EOS 1Ds. But we all afford what we can.
As far as a recommendation, I seriously doubt you can go wrong with a Canon. You could even go with a G2. If you're not going to enlarge the image larger than 8.5x11, the G2 would work great. Larger the pixel count means you get better quality enlargements. With a 5.0 MP camera means you can enlarge the image up to 11x14 and still have decent quality without the print showing any pixels.
Just some advice from someone who does this for a living.
