Default DC header fitment (GSR/B16)

Im building an ls/vtec with b16 head, and im wondering if a DC 4-2-1 made for a GSR will fit. they have different part numbers, but it would seem like b-series would match up.

Should fit just fine. But I'd recommend a different header, I've never been a fan of the DC 4-2-1. Why not go with a JDM ITR or DC JDM 4-1? Both Cheap and I like either better than the 4-2-1 design.

eventually ill upgrade to either of those, but for now, i just need something to get my swap complete. ive got the longblock and tranny in my garage now, tryin to piece together everything else for under 6 or 7 bills, which is why im not going to spend 350-400 on a header alone.

They will fit. The b16a head is taller though so it might have clearance issues with the oil pan.

That's understandable, I remember a couple years ago when I did my first swap I was in a hurry at first to just get it in, but then decided to build the bottom end and freshen up the head as well as piece together all performance pieces I wanted (cams, valvetrain, pistons, header, intake mani. etc.).

BTW you're local any parts you're looking for to finish your swap and who's doing it? If you're looking for someone to do your swap, I do swaps hint hint .

i have a gsr in my del sol. the factory gsr header was too short. it wouldnt hookup with the catalytic converter. so i used a b16 header. from what i understand the gsr header is the shortest, then b16 and the b18b is longest.

the flange fits, but gsr headers are longer so you might have to cut weld some stuff

Nice, doing your own swap for your senior project, for mine I built up a B16.
