Default 13 sec. Gsr's post your setup and weight?

Im hoping to hit mid 13's with my set up that should put up at least 185-95whp and the car weighing in at 2250 with me in it. My motor is being built as we speak, so hopefully I can join the mid 13 sec gsr club. For those that've been there and done that, what were your numbers and set up?

My buddy has a 98 GSR, and has recently added an Fmax Turbo kit. I am not too sure about the weight of his car, but lets say it is far from light :&gt
He has full interior, OBX seats, six point autopower cage, full stereo, and 18inch chrome,etc....its a show car...and no leaning towards fast. Right now he is running 8 psi and retarding the timing 1.25 degrees per pound of boost. Last thursday we were at test and tune night at a local track, and his timeslips were far from good. My buddy has a heavy foot (doesn't lay off the gas when the tires break loose). So he asked one of our friends that has been driving a turbo powered hybrid for two years now, and has a lot of experience driving in road races etc. First time he ever drove my buddies car, let alone at the track, and he put down a 13.8 at 102mph in one pass..... and still had problems with tires breaking loose even when letting off the gas. Tomorrow we plan to hit the track again and see what happens. 13.8 on 18chrome etc..... mounting drag radials to see what will happen next... hopefully not cleaning axles up though :&gt

Let you know how it turns out.

Actually I doubt it is 2250 w/ me, maybe close to 2350-4. Only thing in the interior would be a dash, steering wheel, tach and driver seat. All the tar dampening removed, rear wiper motor, spoiler, light weight wheels, no ac, no ps, no sunroof, no cruise cont., no bumper supports, splash guards/plastic fender linings out. The interior comes back when used on the street. Im about 155 and my car is a Gsr. A friend of mind did the same with his Itr and w/ him in the car it was around the 2400 area and he's fat.

nice time, can you post your dyno charts? You must be putting down some serious numbers to be able run 13.3 w/ full interior on a "foe doe"

GSR what is your setup. The combo you need is usually 11:1-11.5:1 compression, skunk intake, a CAI, jdm or better header, cam gears, vafc, headwork, good cams type r or better, test pipe, or good flowing cat, and a 2.5 exhaust, ecu.

Right now I'm upgrading to CTR pistons, my compression is gonna be sky high. Thank god I have a rich ecu program. we're talking 12.5:1 + compression!

Fast94gsr, I have exactly what you named, my cr is about 11.3, with a ported intake manifold, 70mm tb and a ported head running 01 itr cams. 2.5" exhaust piping, cat, and header. I've never dyno'd the car yet so no tuning, Im hoping for around 195 or more, I've seen similar set ups that have went a little over 200whp so I'm hoping to get it tuned really well.

Hey everyone, I'm new to this site but I know Y2K GS-R(joe what up its Jerry) and it looks like a good site. You guys are going real fast with your integ's. I'm, impressed. 13's is a hard number to pull if you do the wrong things. I have a 2000 GS-R that I race at the track twice a week because I'm crazzy I guess. Anyway with the setup I have I was going 12.87-12.94 on street tires, not drag radials or slicks. My mph is between 108-111 and my 60ft's are like 1.9-2.0. Its a stock motor running juice. BIG SHOT!!!!!!! You don't wanna know. With everything I stipped out, my car weights 2587 with me and I weight 245lbs. Now I have a different setup and my car is ALL-MOTOR stock and it runs a 13.8@101 with intake and exhaust, no header yet. If anyone wants to know what I have now you can hit me up on a IM at Bottle Fed B18. Later everyone.

Holy crap,

12s in a FWD car street tires is awesome, whether Juiced or whatever.

Sweet.

My car has the "potential" for 13s, but working out a few bugs... My goal is 13s on the same tires I drove to the drag strip on
