D16Y8 gsr/ls throttle body swap
I searched the archives and couldn't find any kind of steps that must be taken to do this swap. I heard that you would have drill new bolt holes, is this true? if any body can tell me what must be done to do this swap that would be great thanks
what are you asking? If the gsr or the ls tb will bolt up to the y8 IM?? from what i've heard no, but you can always ghetto rig it
just get your y8 tb ported out , and there you go

yes they bolt up, GSR, B16A 1gen, and H22 are all 60mm, and the itr is 62. Great up grade for the Skunk2 manifold. If you don't have the new manifold and just have the Y8 IM mani, you will need to bore out the TB opening to port match.

I confirm this, all honda B series TBs will bolt up fine. For all you fools that doubt us, read the SOHC thread that Spade did. You need to port match the TB to your Y8 mani, besides that its cake. Yes you can Dremel this if you want, just don't **** it up.
