Reversing the ride and hearing a noise

In the past 2-3 weeks I've heard a loud reving noise when i put my car in reverse and go fast...like 10-15 mph in "R"

I've had my car lowered and wanted to know if that had something to do with it...it only happens in reverse

Do u feel a slight thump when u go reverse and hear the sound? mine did that and turns out my tranny was f*ed had scraps of metal everywhere when they opened it up....
