I'm from the integra forum, but im looking into buying an rsx type-s. I ve got some questions
I dont know what year im looking for yet.
1. Is there really a chip or program out there that gives the type-s 30 hp
2. What ecu does the rsx type-s have (Ex. my 95 teg is obd1)
3. Were there any changes between the models for performance or have there been any major problems with type-s

 

There is good info here for the performance ECU side of things...Also AEM is going to release an ecu for the RSX soon,

The ECU is a new OBD-2 flash-rom ecu...For what its worth

And mostly 1-the engines DO NOT LIKE TO BE OVER-REVVED, and 2-the transmissions have some funny second and third gear grinding/notchyness to them...Usually repaired under warranty...

You might wannna check The Hondata Reflash with the capabilities of a rde line of 8600RPMS....A lot of people on the board have it and I have heard nothing but good compliments about it...

 

hondata gives the type-s about 12-20 peak whp... it is the best choice right now.
