What header fits the 89 Zc dohc to go into an 89rex'?
Got a part number,brand,cost.....?

Still confused on the whole port alignment issue!
Do they make a header that is exact match, or fit as it may be???????????

just get a aftermarket crx header and port the inside...its fairly easy...take your 86-89 acura integra exhaust manifold gasket and put it up to the header, next trace where you need to grind off, and then do it...

 

Are there any that I don't have to mod.

i had a dc header on my zc and didnt have to mod it, but on this one id go with crxgator, get an aftermarket header and port it out....the dc header wasnt worth it at all, till we ported it

 

I had an OBX header, didn't need ported. actually lined up with the old gasket.

 

kamikaze 4-1 work pretty well.

 

i made my own header. it worked ok, now it's being modded by myself into a sexy 4-1 equal length design.

 

I'm not to sure if that's the way I plan on going, but hey thats cool....
to much money not enough time...

i got mine from chikara it was a d16z6 header and it fit fine on my zc.

 

Okay, but I did mean in the states of course.. no offense to those who don't live here..

I'm still looking for a reasonable price on an exact or as close to exact fit header made in the US. That I don't need to grind the ports on. Something machince made not by hand grinding out the excess material in the header flange....

 

then you can buy 2 headers. use the top half of the 89 integra and the lower half of the 89 crx.
