Default The Evolution of JadeDM *56k Stay Away*

I bought my car last May from a local guy in my area. It was a 1998 Cypress Green gsr with tan interior and a incomplete jdm front end which at the time i didnt know anything about integra's. When i bought the car, it was pretty messed up. Failing smog, Front end was paint chipped and damaged, foglights were cracked, missing all support bars, radiator support welded wrong, and other various parts just didnt look right... especially with the acura emblem on the hood . When i picked this car up last may, i decided to join honda-tech and i was helped by a wide array of awsome people, along with my friends who helped me with decisions i had to make.

-Day I bought it home. I could seriously stick my hands under the headlights there was so much gap!

I decided to trade my oem bumper and grill for a cwest bumper which turned out to be a ricer time for me and a big mistake, and my foglight casings were cracked too!.

I then decided id go back with oem so i finally searched for months and finally came up with a brand new bumper and grill. Next, i decided id go with the optional kit since id seen it a lot on honda-tech and thought it looked clean. I also managed to pick up an itr wing and some gunmetal rota c8's. I got everything painted and installed them, but i noticed the front bumper was missing both support bars so i bought those from ic roger which was a great help to me( buy from him!) and i bought new headlights to replace my cracked ones.

There was still only two problems...l had a chipped up hood, no lip. Id seen a couple integra's on honda-tech with a new spoon style cf lip so i decided to go with one of those. I then found some bronze rota grids since I was getting tired of the gunmetal c8's.

Eventually I managed to get my hands on a cf hood and finally completed my car.

Its amazing how much has changed in the past year, and id like to thank honda-tech for making my car what it is today

Special Thanks to board members Downey and GBkwan for some of the pictures!

not bad, im not feeling the tan interior and it could be a bit lower. but good job, seems like you've put in a lot of work since first buying it.

Lower your car to give it that sleek look. Too much wheel gap IMO. Otherwise looks good.

You could have saved money by going to a quality body shop. The lamps could be remolded, the cwest front bumper (which actually looks hot when you ahve the whole kit, which i believe you didnt) could have been refinished, repainted, clear coated.... etc, and the chipped hood could have also been repaired.

The end result is great and fun part of of doing these mods is infact the experience and evolution itself.

All in all, great work dude!

I remember reading a post by you before. you said you couldn't drop it because your dad drives it, and doesn't like driving a lowered car, correct?

Very nice outcome. Nothing wrong with the R-conversion in my book.
