Default replacing inner cv boot (searched)

well i searched and only came up with 'how-tos' for axle replacement.

my main question is how do i get the smaller end of the cv boot over the joint on the axle? the smaller end looks way too small to fit over the joint. and what about the clamp? how do i get that over as well?

i kind of need to know this right now, because i just came inside from the garage to ask for some help.

You have to pull the joint apart, slip the small end of the boot (with the small clamp on) onto the shaft. Then put the joint back on and clamp the big end of the boot.
