I was wondering if it's possible to just swap the tachometer and speedometer part from a JDM cluster onto a USDM cluster. I want to retain my mileage. I know it was possible with the older Civics. But when I look at the back of a DC5 cluster, it's white and flat.
i am not sure if you can swap the gauges and put them on the usdm cluster. you might as well just swap the whole cluster and forget about the mileage.
the jdm cluster can be swapped for the usdm cluster with no modifications. you will not be able to retain your mileage. the speed is read in km/h and the gauge top speed reading is 180 km/h which is about 110-115 mp/h. hope that helps you out a little bit.
